– They were fast and manoeuverable so they can turn their guns on the enemy quicker
-On the English ships the cannons were mounted on smaller gone carriages than the Spanish so when the cannon and is fired and it recoils along way,the decks had enough space for the recoil I’ll be quickly reloaded…This meant that English ships could fire more cannonballs at the Spanish with more speed
