Protestant rejection of transubstantiation (the idea that when the wine and bread are blessed that they become the blood and body of Christ)

- Re-established the break from Rome and an independant Britain
- Elizabeth chose the less controversial title of ‘Supreme Govenor’ rather than ‘Supreme Head’ of the Church
- Church would keep its existing pre-reformation episcopal structure with 2x Archbishops (who she appoints)
- Clergy must swear an oath to her
