  • Re-established the break from Rome and an independant Britain
  • Elizabeth chose the less controversial title of ‘Supreme Govenor’ rather than ‘Supreme Head’ of the Church
  • Church would keep its existing pre-reformation episcopal structure with 2x Archbishops (who she appoints)
  • Clergy must swear an oath to her
