Proximal att: distal half of anterior surface of humerus.
Distal att: coronoid process and tuberosity of ulna
Biceps brachii
Proximal att:
Short head- coracoid process of scapula
long head- supraglenoid tubercle of scapula
Distal att: tuberosity of radius and fascia of forearm via the bicipital aponeurosis
Coracobrachialis
Proximal att: tip of coracoid process of scapula
Distal att: middle third of medial surface of humerus
Triceps brachii
Proximal att:
Long head- infraglenoid tubercle of scapula
Lateral head- posterior surface of humerus superior to radial groove.
Medial head- posterior surface of humerus inferior to radial groove.
Distal att: proximal end of olecranon of ulna and fascia of forearm
Anconeus
Proximal att: Lateral epicondylitis of humerus
Distal att: lateral surface of olecranon and superior part of posterior surface of ulna
Pronator teres
Proximal att:
Ulnar head- coronoid process of ulna
Humerus head- medial epicondyle of humerus.
Distal att: middle of convexity on lateral surface of radius
Brachioradialis
Proximal att: proximal two thirds of lateral supraepicondylar ridge of humerus
Distal att: lateral surface of distal end of radius proximal to styloid process
Supinator
Proximal att: lateral epicondyle of humerus, ulnar collateral and anular ligaments, supinator fossa, crest of ulna
Distal att: lateral, posterior, and anterior surface of proximal third of radius
