- onset <2
- flexural distribution
- generally dry skin
- FH/PMH other atopic disease
Where does seborrhoea dermatitis affect?
Scalp and proximal flexures in <6 month olds
What is pompholyx eczema?
Intensely itchy
Palms and soles of feet
What is allergic contact dermatitis?
Type 4 hypersensitivity
What is irritant contact dermatitis associated with?
Usually occupational
What are the features of eczema?
Pruritus
Dry skin
Flexural pattern
Infants- seen on face
What are the acute symptoms of eczema?
Erythema
Scaling
Vesicles
Papules
What are the chronic features of eczema?
Lichenification
Hypopigmentation
Plaques
Fissures
What is the management of eczema?
