The study of relationship between organisms and their physical environment.

Information about how to use natural resources.
What are the ecological levels?
Individual, Population, Community, Ecosystem, Biome, Biosphere.

It is one organism and one type of organism.
[Eco levels] What is a population?
It is a group of individuals of the same species. (They are geographically based)
[Eco levels] What is a community?
It is a group of populations of different species that interact with each other.
What are examples of interaction with own species?
Fighting, pathfinding, grooming, mating.
What are examples of interaction with other species?
Hunting, using for nest, growing on other organisms.
[Eco levels] What are ecosystems?
The union of abiotic and biotic factors.
What are abiotic factors?
Non living things.
What are biotic factors?
Living things.
[Eco levels] What is a biome?
The collection of a similar type of ecosystem distributed all over the world.
[Eco levels] What is a biosphere?
The group of all ecosystems on Earth.
What does the biosphere consist of?
The atmosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere.
