Looks like a bullfrog, but has a ridge of skin that runs down the length of the body instead of curving around the tympanic membrane
Green frog
Smaller and usually more brown than northern leopard frog. Has more square and geometrically shaped spots
Pickerel frog
Back feet are large and webbed since it is mostly aquatic. Typically green, chartreuse, or dark gray, with no real pattern.
Pig frog
Gray or green in color with striped or splotched pattern on back.
Gray tree frog
typically Green with round black spots and a few white stripes running down back. Has a small white(ish) dot on its tympanic membrane.
Northern Leopard frog
Key feature is lumps behind the eyes (paratoid glands) that contain toxins. Coloration varies in regards to mottling and amount of red present
American toad
Small, sand-colored frog with dark brown patterns on it’s back
Spring peeper
Have dorsolateral folds (raised skin) that curves around the tympanic membranes (ears). Color varies from solid green to solid bronze, or a mix
American bullfrog
