Binge Eating Disorder

A

A. Binge Eating.

B. Binge eating associated with three of the following:

  • eating too fast.
  • eating too much.
  • eating when not hungry.
  • eating alone due to embarrassment about how much one is eating.
  • feeling disgusted with oneself afterwards.

C. Distress regarding binge eating.

D. Occurs once a week for three months.

E. No compensatory mechanisms and not exclusively during the course of AN.

Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder

A

A. Insufficient nutrition.

B. Not better explained by lack of food or by a culturally sanctioned practice.

C. Does not occur exclusively during course of AN or BN and no disturbance in the way one’s body is experienced
