A. Deficits in intellectual functions (clinically and <70 on an IQ test)

Learning Disorder - DSM-5
A. Persistent difficulty learning an academic skill
B. Affected academic skill is substantially below expectation
C. It is apparent in early years
D. It is not better accounted for by something else
Learning Disorder - LDAO
A. At least average IQ
B. Deficits in one or more of the specific learning areas
C. Academic achievement low OR normal but sustained with high effort
D. Not accounted for by another condition
Autism Spectrum Disorder
A. Persistent deficits in communication across multiple contexts; all of:
- Deficits in social-emotional reciprocity
- Deficits in non-verbal communication
- Deficits in relationships
B. Restricted/repetitive behaviours; two of:
- Repetitive motor movements, use of objects, or speech
- Inflexibility
- Fixated interests
- Hyper/Hyporeacticity to sensory input
C. Present in early development
D. Cause functional impairment
E. Not accounted better for by something else
ADHD - Inattention Symptoms
- Inattention go details
- Difficulty in sustaining attention
- Seems to not listen
- Fails to finish tasks
- Difficulty in organizing
- Avoids tasks requiring sustained attention
- Loses things
- Easily distracted
- Forgetful
ADHD - Hyperactivity Symptoms
- Fidgets
- Unable to stay seated
- Inappropriate running/climbing
- Difficulty playing quiet
- On the go
- Talks excessively
- Blurts our answers before question is finished
- Difficulty awaiting turn
- Interrupts or intrudes others
ADHD
A. Either inattention or hyperactivity present for 6 mo
B. Presents before 12
C. Present in at least 2 settings
D. Functional impairment
E. Not accounted for by another Disorder
Oppositional Defiance Disorder
A. Angry, argumentative, vindictive behaviour lasting 6 mo, and not with a sibling.
B. Behaviour is distressing (to self or others)
C. Behaviours do not occur exclusively during psychotic, substance use, or bipolar disorder. Criteria not met for mood dysregulation disorder
Conduct Disorder
A. 3 criteria from the categories aggression to people and animals, destruction of property, deceitful ness or theft, or serious violation of rules in the past 12 months and one has been present for the past 6 months.
B. Functional impairment
C. Of the individual is >18, criteria not met for ASPD
Language Disorder
A. Persistent difficulties in acquisition of use of language
B. Below age level, causing functional impairment
C. Onset in early development
D. Not better accounted by other diagnosis
Speech and Sound Disorders
A. Persistent difficulty with speech sound production
B. Communication affected
C. Onset in early development
D. Not accounted for better by another condition
