A
Most things are low but G’s and C’s are raised
Glucose, growth hormone, cortisol, salivary glands, cholesterol, carotinaemia

When refeeding in anorexics what needs to be monitored?
A
Monitor phosphate.
Refeeding uses phosphates, magnesium and potassium.
Cardiac arrthymias are the most common cause of death from refeeding syndrome. Can also get rhabdomyolis and respiratory failure.
