Early identification and intervention program (EIIP)
Just an acronym
Early identification and intervention program (EIIP) does what?
It is a program designed to identify trends in officers behavior before they become a risk and liability to the department and the member.

It can also be used on a squad level.
Employee performance review (EPR) is what?
It is designed to provided the officers chain of command with a snap shot of the officers work history and performance over the last three years.
How long are alerts held in blue team?
The start new in a rolling year. iE they are purged a year from time of occurrence. All firearms discharges are held for 60 months or 5 years.
How often will sgt check their squads blue team dashboard?
Once a month and with in 14 days of receiving an alert.
Sgts responsibilities in regards to EIIP? 9 tasks
- Review blue team on a monthly basis
- Receive notifications via email from blue team
- Request employee performance reviews from the department through EIIP section
- Consult with second line supervisor (LT)
- Meet with employee to discuss alert
- If no concerning pattern is observed respond to EIIP with in 14 days
- If pattern exist consult with LT to develop a plan to remedy the situation
- Return notification to EIIP to show what training was conducted to change the pattern
- Continue to assess the officers actions.
