A

earcalm = acetic acid 2%
> 12 years
1 spray TDS max every 2-3 hrs
continue for another 2 days after symptoms clear.

A

Cerumenolytic products
Olive oil drops 1-2 drops BD
Soften ear wax
OR
Hydrogen peroxide 5% ear drops (otex)
5 drops OD or BD for 3-4 days prn

Counselling on treatment

A

Keep the head tilted and pull earlobe away.
Put 3-5 drops in and lay down for as long as possible.
If oil drops make sure you warm up the bottle with your hands.
