7
Q

What technology is used for the O2 sensor and how does it work?

A

The O2 sensor is a galvanic sensor which allows gas to diffuse across a membrane in the sensor at rate proportional to the partial pressure of oxygen. O2 reacts in the sensor and produces a voltage proportional to the concentration of O2 which is measured and converted to a gas concentration and then displayed on the screen.

8
Q

What technology is used for the LEL sensor and how does it work?

A

Catalytic combustible gas chamber. The reaction of gas with O2 on the catalyst changes the resistance of the element (gas) which changes the current flowing through it. The current is amplified and converted to a measurement of combustible gas concentration.

9
Q

What technology is used for the H2S and CO sensor and how does it work?

A

Electrochemical sensors that contain precious metal electrodes in an electrolyte solution. Gas diffuses into the electrolyte solution and reacts to produce a current proportional to the concentration of target gas
