Define dupytrens disease
A
It is a progressive nodular hypertrophy and contracture of superficial palmar fascia. It causes flexion contracture of MCP and PIP joints

Describe the 4 surgical interventions
A
Simple fasciotomy- contracted cord is cut
Fasciectomy- removal of diseased fascia
Dermofasciectomy- remove overlaying skin and fat along with fascia
Amputation - rare and v severe
