Ru Xiang + Mo Yao
A
- Pain due to Qi and blood stagnation in the viscera and bowels or channels and network vessels
- Amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, or postpartum abdominal pain due to blood stasis
- Bi syndrome due to Wind-Damp causing Qi and blood stagnation in the network vessels
- Wounds, scars, and skin inflammations with Blood stasis and necrotic tissue
- Traumatic injuries with pain, swelling, and redness due to Qi stagnation and blood stasis
Ru Xiang: frankensense
Mo Yao: Myhrr

San Leng + E Zhu
A
- Abdominal mass, lump glomus, hepatomegaly, and splenomegaly due to Qi/Blood stagnation
- Amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, clots in the menstrual flow, and infertility, due to Blood stasis
- Abdominal pain due to Food accumulation
San Leng: triangular
E Zhu: circular (both are ‘masses’)

Chuan Xiong + Dang Gui
A
- Menstrual irregularities, dysmenorrhea, and postpartum abdominal pain due to Blood stasis
- Rheumatic pain due to W-D and blood deficiency
- Headaches due to Blood deficiency or Blood stasis
- Wounds, ulcers, or cutaneous inflammations due to Qi/Blood deficiency with Qi/Blood stagnation
Chuang Xiong: move blood ONLY
Dang Gui: move and tonify blood

Pu Huang + Wu Ling Zhi
A
- Epigastric, cardiac, abdominal, and lateral costal pain due to Qi/Blood stagnation
- Menstrual irregularities, dysmenorrhea, postpartum pain due to retention of lochia or Blood stasis
Pu Huang: stop bleeding(primary); move blood (secondary)
Wu Ling Zhi: Flying squirrel feces; omve blood (primary), Stop bleeding (secondary)
