Behaviour that differs from the norms/values of a sport. Often driven by a win at all costs attitude. Can be through violence, drugs and doping etc.

There is a banned list of drugs by WADA. Usually banned because they are PEDs

A
- Caffeine - Improves concentration and stimulation
- Protein shake - Aids muscle repair and therefore improves recovery
- Creatine - Increases energy stores in the muscles, aiding powerful contractions
- Bicarbonate - Buffers blood lactate, increasing intensity/duration an athlete can work at before OBLA occurs
- Carbohydrate Gels - Can be consumed prior or during to increase glucose levels.

- Steriods - Increase muscle mass
- Diuretics - Increase water loss
- Hormone modulators - Medications that suppress the function of specific hormones
- Beta Blockers - Control Heart rate

A
- Expectations of supporters, coaches etc to perform well
- Keep up with other competitors using illegal drugs
- Compensate for lack of natural ability
- Appeal of financial reward for success

- Testicular shrinkage
- Increased risk of failure
- More aggressive and lower tolerance for frustration
