What are painkillers? What do they do?

A

Are drugs that relieve pain. However, they don’t actually tackle the cause of the disease or kill pathogens. Just help reduce symptoms.

What are antibiotics

A

They kill the bacteria causing the problem without killing your own body cells.

How can bacteria develop to antibiotics?

A

Can become resistant. Bacteria can mutate. This means if you have an infection only the non-resistant strands will be killed.
