- “Seeing Sounds” “Hearing colors”
- A sensory perception disorder, in which an input via one sense is perceived by the brain as an input via another sense. Simpler terms, it is a transposition of senses.
- Can naturally occur in small percentage of the population and can differ from drug-inducing synesthesia.

A

- Produces an energizing effect as well as distortions in time and perception and enhances enjoyment from tactile experiences.

- Emotional: most dangerous – feelings of panic, fear, etc
- Somatic: Altered body sensations, tremors, weakness, dizziness, crawly, tingly feelings on the skin
- Perceptual: distortions of vision, hearing, smell taste, and touch
