Yangming organ syndrome causing severe constipation: Severe constipation and flatulence, focal distention and abdominal fullness, abdominal pain which increases upon pressure, tense and firm abdomen; possibly tadal fever, delirious speech, profuse sweating of the palms and soles

T: dry yellow, or dry black coat

P: deep, excessive pulse

Yangming Fu syndrome causing diarrhea: Also for Yangming organ syndrome causing green, watery diarrhea with abdominal distention

Excess Internal Heat causing Heat Collapse (Re Jue): fever, cold hands and feet, thirst, constipation, disorientation, mania

(Shi/Hardness-constipation, abdominal pain)=Da Huang

Zao/Dryness-dry stool. firm,tense abdomen_=Mang Xiao_

Man/Fullness-objective(visible)distention+pain/bloating=Hou Po

Pi/Distention-Subjective distention (subjective)+No Pain=Zhi Shi

T: old-looking (dirty and dry), yellow coat

P: slippery, rapid (Shi, Man, Pi)

NOTE: Without Mang Xiao, this formula is geared more towards abdominal fullness and less toward dryness
