What is dangerous dogs act section one and 4b
Owners allowed to keep banned breed dod if placed in exempt dog index after deemed not risk to public safety (long and costly court process)
- fit and proper person
- dog suitable temperament
Provided with exemption dog must be
- neutered and microchipped
-muzzled and kept on lead in public
- kept in safe place so it cannot escape
- insured
Dog must not be sold given away or abandoned
Index of dog must be told if owner changes address or dog dies
