crisis/process
- Crisis: ‘initial dedication when the commitment is made’
* Process: ‘action by which the implications of this commitment are worked out in every department of life’
What holiness is not?
• Absence of temptation, sin is inevitable, sanctification does not eliminate the possibility of sinning.

Discuss Holiness & Temptation
Temptation is a part of the human condition, but we are able to resist it by help of the Holy Spirit
1 Corinthians 10:13- No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted[d] beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
Discuss Holiness & Sin
Sin is inevitable and sanctification does not
eliminate the possibility of sinning-intention is to not sin, seek help and resist!
-Romans 6- speaks about being dead to sin and alive in Christ- The death he died he died to sin once and for all, death no longer has victory over us because of Christ resurrection. Sin is no longer our master
