DNA is a chemical found in the nucleus of cells. It is a polymer made up of two strands joined together. The structure of DNA is described as a double stranded, double helix molecule.

The genome of an organism is the entire genetic material of that organism (i.e All of the chromosomes and a small amount of DNA found in the mitochondria)

A

Mitochondria are a part of eukaryotic cells. The main job of mitochondria is to perform cellular respiration. This means it takes in nutrients from the cell, breaks it down, and turns it into energy.
