- Why is D&I important
a. Due to the nature of a surveyors work I work with a multitude of people on a day to day basis and it is important to treat everyone equally and politely.
- Why is D&I important within a team?
a. It is important so that I can understand the behaviours and dynamics. Being able to support people on weaker skills and use those with stronger skills. By having a diverse team it means thoughts and opinions are diverse meaning new innovative ideas.
- How does your company ensure diversity and inclusion?
a. They have multiple working groups within the business that represent different protected groups such as gender, learning difficulties/disabilities, LGBTQ+ and race.

- Why is inclusive environments important?
a. It is important so that buildings, land and spaces are designed so that everyone can use and are able to be adapted for all users. An example of this would be a shopping centre that provides a specific day that is quieter for more vulnerable people or reducing the lighting and music for those with Autism.
