As a volunteer teaching english to small groups in community.
In wex at epsom hospital saw during consultation elderly man with broken english had daughter translating for him- dr was patient and adapted his communication skills to make sure patient was understanding and still had autonomy, fully informed, shared patient doctor relationship, answered any qs or concerns patients had.
Important for drs to be able to work with
