Part of the depressive delusion category. Is an extreme version of hypochondriacal delusions, absolute ridiculous ideas about organs such as melted, no longer exists , one can even deny their own existence
What are obsessions
They are persistent intrusive thoughts doubts memories impulses that are considered to be intrusive and inappropriate

Doubts - did I lock the door
Profanities- feeling the urge to swear in church
Fears of contamination
Aggressive : hurt ones child
How would you define an overvalued idea
It refers to an abnormal belief that is neither a delusion or another session in nature but which is preoccupying sufferers life
Usually less strange /bizarre than delusions, they may have some element of truth to it
