shines behind the subject to create a sense of depth

resulting in better lit subject with minimal shadows or cxontrats
often used to enhance the feeling of energy and liveness in a shot
low-key light
low proportion of fill light to key light(- FL +KL
resulting in subject covered in or surrounding by shadows t/creates shadows
often used to create tense and atmosphere
