Causes of localized non cicatrichial alopecia
Alopecia Areata, male baldness, trichotillomania, syphilis ( moth eaten), T. Capitis as scaly & black dot ring worm
Causes of diffuse non cicatrichial alopecia
Telogen effluvium
Prolonged typhoid fever
Hypo or hyperthyroidism, hypopituitarism
Cytotoxic drugs & oral contraceptives
Anemia & malnutrition
Malignancy
Psychogenic
Asymptomatic sudden loss of hair single or multiple with completely normal scalpno crusts or scales in ……..
