- kissing or any other contact with the body fluids of another person
- direct skin to skin contact
-microorganisms from faeces transmitted on hands

- through a break in the skin
- from an Animal bites (rabies)
- through a puncture wound or sharing needles

A
- taking in contaminated food or drink or transferring pathogens to the mouth from the hands

A
- minute droplets of saliva and mucus are expelled from your mouth as you talk, cough or sneeze
- Droplets can contain pathogens which someone may breathe in and become infected
