vasoconstrictor (ergot alkaloid), used to facilitate delivery of the placenta and prevent PPH, stimulates alpha adrenergic, dopaminergic and serotonin receptors and causes smooth muscle contraction of the uterus, S/E= N+V, bradycardia, coronary artery spasm

nanopeptide hormone (uterotonic) used to induce labour/prevent PPH/induce breastfeeding
CLAVULANIC ACID -type, use
Beta lactamase inhibitor, combined with penicillins (co-amoxiclav) to protect the penicillin from beta lactamase enzymes
