Pulmonary embolism
Blood clot or other material blocks a lung artery, cutting off blood flow
acute coronary syndrome
a syndrome due to decreased blood flow in the coronary arteries such that part of the heart muscle is unable to function properly or dies

can refer to a brain bleed
eclampsia
life threatening pregnancy complication that causes seizures due to high blood pressure
Thrombosis
A condition that occurs when a blood clot (thrombus) forms in a blood vessel, partially or completely blocking blood flow
Dysrhythmia (arrhythmia)
an abnormal heart beat that can be too fast, too slow or irregular
congenial disorder
Birth defects, structural changes that occur before birthand are present at birth
febrile convulsions
basically a febrile seizure that occurs in young children and infants when they have a fever
meningitis
inflammation of the tissue surrounding the brainand spinal cord
anaphylaxis
severe and fatal allergic reaction
COPD
is a common lung disease causing restricted airflow and breathing problems, sometimes called emphysema or chronic bronchitis
CHF (congestive heart failure)
heart cant pump enough blood to meet bodys needs, happens when heart muscle is weak or stiff. heart cant supply enough oxygen rich blood to the body’s organs. leads to fatigue, shortness of breath and excessive coughing
pulmonary edema
lung congestion (life threatening condition that occurs when excess fluid builds up in the lungs, making breathing difficult
cerebrovascular accident

exposure to toxic substance
metabolic acidosis
electrolyte disorder, body produces too much acids in its fluids
