Trade - made trading of commodities easier.
Communication - made bringing countries together easier, sharing of knowledge and relationships
Global governance - regulate global economic activities and minimising environmental damage.
Open borders - freer movement of people, goods and ideas between countries.
Multinational corporations - giant corporations that control the worlds natural resources.
Economic growth - overall countries economies have improved, some more than others.
Migration - more people are being employed in a global workforce rate.
what are some cons of globalisation (6)?
- loss of family ties
- cultural uniformity, everyone starts being the same
- can negatively affect peoples live due to unemployment, low wages and worsening of environment.
- trade is still controlled by quotas benefiting richer countries
- more environmental and ecological damage.
- enables diseases to spread much easier.
