Features of acne rosacea
- typically affects nose, cheeks and forehead
- flushing is often first symptom
- erythema
- telangiectasia
- later develops into persistent erythema with papules and pustules
- sunlight may exacerbate symptoms

- in infants the face and trunk are often affected
- in younger children, eczema often occurs on the extensor surfaces
