The teacher started by pouring oil, water and syrup (add different densities) into a small tube. What would happen?
A
Since the 3 liquids were of different densities, they did not mix, but they instead separated into different layers

What would the order of the 3 liquids be (water, oil, syrup)? Why?
A
Most dense went to the bottom and gradually went up to the top with the least dense. This happens because they are all different densities.
