Gap Analysis
Identifies the causes (barriers/performance drivers) keeping things in actual-land, rather than optimal-land. Part of Performance Analysis
Cause Analysis
What is it that strong performers do? (optimals). Procedural-type situations.
Task Analysis
What do strong performers know? Example: The quest for understanding what a water-walkers knows and how that knowledge is organized, processed, and used.
Subject Matter Analysis/Content Analysis
Utilizes the content /results of performance analysis and supporting analyses to create the appropriate training.
