A

happiness, pleasure and pain avoidance, considered subjective wellbeing
has 3 components - life satisfaction, presence of positive mood, absence of negative mood
reflects a person’s individual evaluation of the quality of their life

A

living well by flourishing and full-filling human potential
considered psychological wellbeing
purposefulness and personal development and growth rather than happiness
Ryff and Singer proposed 6 dimensions that constitute optimal psychological well-being
- personal growth, autonomy, self-acceptance, purpose in life, environmental mastery, positive relationship.
