parents treat children differently based on gender, the second child might be brough tup differently, the children might have different intersets so treated differently by adults
what 4 ways can you study the debat
twin studies, adoption studies, animal studies and cross-cultural studies
why are twin studies used
to see if a characterisitc is becuase of nature or nurture
if MZ twins have a high concordance rate what does that show
its down to nature
why are adoption studies used
to show the effects of nurture
if the child is similar to their adopted family is it nature or nurture
nurture
why are animal studies used
animals can be bred 100% genetically identical so studies show what extent the environment has
why are cross cultural studies used
if something is the same across all cultures it means we have an innate tendency so its nature
