Landing Gear Indicator Lights - Extinguished (red)
- Landing gear is up and locked with landing gear lever UP or OFF
- Landing gear is down and locked with landing gear lever DN
Landing Gear Indicator Lights - Illuminated (red)
- Landing gear is not down and locked (with either or both forward thrust levers at idle, and below 800’ AGL)
- Related landing gear is in disagreement with LANDING GEAR lever position (in transit or unsafe)
Landing Gear Indicator Lights (above LG lever) - Illuminated (green)
Related LG is down and locked
Note: LG warning horn is deactivated with all LG down and locked
Landing Gear Indicator Lights - Extinguished (green)
Landing gear is not down and locked
Note: LG is down and locked as long as one green LG indicator light (center panel or overhead) for each gear is illuminated.

- Hydraulic pressure is removed from LG system

What does the Override Trigger on the LG lever do?
It allows LG lever to be raised, by bypassing the LG lever lock

Do the overhead LG lights simply repeat the same info as LG lights on the center panel?
No. They are a redundant but separate set of LG indicator circuits and lights.
With the manual gear extension door open is it possible to:

- Yes, with the LG lever in any position
- Yes, if hydraulic SYS A pressure is available
- No.
What happens when the manual gear extension handles are pulled to there limits?
The associated LG uplock is released
