When is Fuel LOW alert displayed?
Main tank less than 2000 and remains until quantity is raised to 2500.
When is Fuel CONFIG alert displayed?
- Center tank more than 1600 and
- Either engine running
- Both center pumps off (or not producing sufficient pressure)
When is Fuel IMBAL alert displayed?
Main tanks differ by more than 1000 and remains on until within 200.
When is Fuel IMBAL alert inhibited?
- On the ground
2. Either tank has fuel LOW indication
How and where does the APU fed from:
- With an AC pump on
- With no AC pumps on
- 808SY, 809SY, 820SY, 821SY?
- AC pumps supply pressure from the left side of the fuel manifold
- Fuel is suction fed from main tank No. 1
- They have a DC APU fuel boost pump which operates automatically.
How many fuel measuring sticks are on
- Each main tank
- The center tank
- 6
2. 4
If none of the fuel pumps are operating, will the engines still run?
Yes. Each engine can draw fuel from its corresponding main tank through a suction feed line that bypasses the pumps.
How much fuel does each surge (outboard) tank hold and where does that fuel normally go?
235 lbs normally drain back into the main fuel tanks, as able.
Where does fuel go when the surge (outboard) fuel tanks overfill?
It is drained out the vent scoop on the bottom of the wing, near the wingtip.
