inform
verb - to officially tell someone about something or give them information (e.g. They decided to inform the police)
recap
verb - to repeat the main points of something that has just been said
(e.g. Let me just recap what’s been discussed so far.)
distinguish
distinguish - v - differentiate / to recognize and understand the difference between two or more things or people (e.g. a method of distinguishing cancer cells from normal tissue)
lead
verb - to take someone somewhere by going in front of them while they follow, or by pulling them gently (e.g. A nurse took her arm and led her to a chair.)
assignment
noun - a piece of work that is given to someone as part of their job
keen
adj - wanting to do something or wanting something to happen very much SYN eager (e.g I wasn’t keen on going there on my own.)
facilitate
verb - to make it easier for a process or activity to happen (e.g. Computers can be used to facilitate language learning.)
exaggerate
verb - to make something seem better, larger, worse etc than it really is (e.g. I couldn’t sleep for three days – I’m not exaggerating.)
attract
verb - to make someone interested in something, or make them want to take part in something (e.g. What attracted me most to the job was the chance to travel.)
linkage
noun - formal link (e.g. the linkage between wages and prices)
remind
verb - to make someone remember something that they must do (e.g. Yes, I’ll be there. Thanks for reminding me.)
