These experiments show that the undifferentiated and a more differentiated cell are expressing some of the SAME genes, but also some different genes.

A
Where the cDNA and mRNA bind, this shows the genes which are expressed in both cells

A
Where there is free cDNA (that has no mRNA from undifferentiated cell to bind to), this shows genes only expressed in one cell/ the more differentiated cell
