What is the first callout when you are over the rails?
Seat safe, two pins in, gear down
(Safe on the seat, ejection and canopy jettison pins installed, physically check gear is in the full down position)
After “seat safe, two pins in, gear down,” what are you doing over the rails?
BBB and EED
Battery On

Backups On (x3)

Before applying external power over the rails, what do you need to check?
Fuel and oxygen quantity - Check (Hold OXY/FUEL check switch QTY CHECK until fuel quantity indications stabilize. Verify FUEL LOW light ON until left and right fuel quantities exceed 250 pounds)
After BBB/EED, what are the only switches you should HAVE to touch during over the rails?
Gear Doors - Norm
ACP - As required
Cabin Pressure/Temp - Press/Auto/40
Big 5 - On (w/ external power)
How should the standbys look over the rails?
ADI - caged and locked
others - check
What should the emergency oxygen gauge read over the rails?
1800 - 2500 PSI
What should you do with the Lap and SSK straps while over the rails?
Move away from the seat cushion
If the aircraft will not accept external AC power and the GPU checks good…?
cycling the battery switch OFF the ON may actuate necessary relays to allow the aircraft to accept external AC power
What is the correct position for the DTC?
Correct position is arrow side up, with arrow facing forward, toward the nose of the aircraft
What should the oxygen pressure read while over the rails?
Less than 120 psi
When you load the DTC data, what do you need to have containerized?
GT (click GT twice)
What channel do you get ATIS at CAFB?
-the VOR
-UHF 18
(Battery start: use STBY)
What frequency is Clearance Delivery? What is the standard call?
UHF 19
“Clearance, C/S, __ MOA, Sector __”
What is the PRICE check?
Oxygen system - Check
P: Pressure gage should read 50 - 120 psi
R: Regulator switch ON and check emergency pressure
I: Indicator should blink with breaths
C: Connections check
E: Emergency cylinder properly connected with a min pressure of 1800 PSI
What is the first callout of the interior inspection?
All strapped in, ACP set, seat safe, 2 pins in, good PRICE showing __ over __, good circuit breakers center and left, check WOW switch NORM
After setting up the UFCP/MFD via the Lazy L, what is the next callout?

4 fires, full panel, (good tones)
What is the callout you make before engine start?
Lights set, loose items stowed, area clear, crew chief, fire bottle, no oxygen or refueling within 50 feet. Hands Clear
After starting the right engine, what callout do you make?
Good right stack, pressure, right panel, (big 5 on), hands clear
After starting the left engine, what callout do you make?
Good left stack, pressure, left panel, throttle gate engaged, good squeeze, good circuit breakers center/left, hands clear
