blood circulates in blood vessels. in the capillaries some plasma leave capillaries as interstitial fluid. most interstitial fluid returns to the capillaries. some is picked up by lymphatic vessels as lymph

lymph is returned to the blood near the hear. lymphocytes circulate in the blood and then move into the lymph and return to blood
