secrete by exocytosis. 99% water, potassium, sodium, chloride, ammonia, urea, and lactic acid. cools body down; the more common sweat glands

produce oily secretion, flask shaped with short ducts that open to hair follicles. Keeps hair from being brittle, dry and cracked
