Enculturation
Cultures consist of?
1- Symbols ( Egyptian Language)
2- Material Objects ( Pyramids)
Anything that signifies something else.
Symbols
Physical objects and symbols are their meanings.
Signs
Social rules and regulations, if you break then you will be punished.
Norms
Social suggestions, even if you don’t fallow, you may not be penalized but if you fallow, life would be easier ( or better)

Mental maps of reality
* Cultural classification of what kind of people and things exist, and the assignment of meaning to those classification.
Schema
The belief that one’so own culture is normal and natural then using one’s own culture to judge others

Understanding a group’s beliefs and practices within their own cultural context, without “ Making Judgement”
