Can you describe a time when you saw a dentist diagnose and treat a patient with multiple dental concerns?
- young kid with 6 holes due to high sugar intake and poor brushing
- completed x- rays to assess rest of mouth, look for any hidden problems

- continous monitoring during procedures- e.g.vital signs (BP, heart rate, respiratory rate) during sedation
- reflect on any incidents to prevent reoccuring
How would you approach incorporating new dental research or techniques into your clinical decision-making process?
- stay informed- articles, conferences, workshops
- crtically evaluate evidence- look at credibility, pop size, outcomes- to see if will work for me
- dicuss with colleagues- get diff perspectives
- slowly try to incorporate into practice- smaller cases, cases similiar to study- and closely monitor outcomes
- prioritise patient’s needs- explain risks and benefits to them and allow them to make informed decision
- ensure abides by ethical & legal guidelines
