Brief
Meet with your client. Define what is wanting to be accomplished with the design. Learn about the business needs and marketing goals.
Research
Gathering information about the company/client, what they do, past designs. Also, gathering information about the clients competitors and the client’s target audience.
Brainstorming
The formation of ideas or concepts, also known as ideation. Brainstorm based on the client’s business needs, the target audience and making a design unique from the business’s competitors.
Thumbnails
Reduced-size versions of designs that give designers the ability to narrow out the mediocre designs quickly while building on concepts of good design.
Rough
After creating a variety of thumbnails, a rough is created by choosing the best thumbnail and creating a larger more defined version of it.
Design
After a rough is completed and revisions made with the client, the design can be created!
Revisions
A back and forth process with clients on edits, revisions and final approval of copy and imagery used.
Production
Finalizing details in piece, making all images high-res, confirming correct color space, prepping for delivery to vendor.
Delivery
Managing all aspects of on-time delivery of final work for output. Dealing with vendor estimates, time-lines, prepping and uploading files.
Follow-up
Review goals versus outcomes and overall client satisfaction of end result. Analysis and recommendations provided for followup actions on campaign.
