A

Folder of Files (OVF):
1. Used to publish to to web server or image library.
Three files: OVF, VMDK, MF. Can be used separately, i.e. the OVF can be imported in vSphere client.

  1. Single OVA: Used to download from a website or on USB.

    a. CPU Resources.
    b. Memory Resources:
    c. Unrecognized OVF Sections: OVF created in another vSphere client.
    d. IP Allocation Policy: Determines how clients will receive their IP addresses. Static, IP Pools, DHCP.
  2. Authoring:
    a. Product Name.
    b. Product Version.
    c. Product Vendor.
    d. Can define your own.
