weber test verbals
normal is sound equal in ears
conductive deafness: sound lateralizes in bad ear
sensoineural deafness: sound lateralizes in good ear
rinne test verbals
normal is air conduction is twice that of bone conduction
conduction deafness is when air conduction is equal to or less than bone
sensorineural deafness is both air and bone are radically decreased
hallpike dix test verbals
nystagmus after movt indicates benign positional vertigo
fukuda step verbals
turning to one side indicates side of vestibular lesion
whirling chair test verbals
nystagmus will be in direction of spin is normal
vestibulocochlear reflex verbals
inability to maintain fixation or nystagmus indicates vestibular lesion
