Supplies 1 of the eye muscles and allows horizontal eye movements

Movement of facial muscles, involved with taste and crying

Damage: partial loss of taste, eyelid droops, mouth sagging, hard to speak or ingest

Enables swallowing and saliva

Damage: impairment in swallowing and taste
Vagus nerve
Allows digestion, swallowing, involved with parasympathetic nervous system and getting out of fight or flight mode

Damage: voice loss, difficulty swallowing
Hypoglossal nerve
Controls tongue
Motor
Damage: hard to speak or swallow, unable to stick out tongue, or will move to one side
Accessory Nerve
Head, neck, shoulder movement
Damage: causes head to move towards injury, paralysis of specific muscles, hard to shrug your shoulders
