What’s a correlation and scatter gram
A
Where no variables are manipulated and co variables are measured and compared to look for relationship
Co- variable - two factors which are collected by research
Plotted on a scatter gram which helps find the strength of the correlation

Strengths and weaknesses
A
Weakness - doesn’t show causation and there is a possibility that an unknown third variable caused a change in both co - variables
Strength - highlights potential causation relationships which can be tested to discover cause / affect .
Data normally is already existing which reduces ethical issues
