What is the purpose of a coronial inquest?

A
  1. The FACT the person has died
  2. The IDENTITY of the person
  3. the CAUSE of death
  4. WHERE and WHEN the death occurred
  5. the CURCUMSTANCES of death

Second- to make comment for public consumption to prevent incident recurring

Third- recommend further enquiry by investigating authority
